舊有的約束手套內裏的空間狹窄，以致照顧者為服務使用者戴上手套時有很大的困難。Traditional restraint gloves have a narrow inner space, making it very difficult for caregivers to put them on users.
在佩戴舊式手套後，手指通常都是在屈曲的狀態。手指在長期屈曲的狀態下，久而久之會形成手指攣縮的問題。After wearing old-style gloves, fingers are usually in a bent position. Prolonged bending can eventually lead to finger contracture.
攣縮形成後的嚴重後果Serious Consequences of Contracture
一旦形成攣縮後，手指將無法再次伸直。Once contracture forms, fingers can no longer be straightened.
手指活動幅度大幅減少，影響日常生活功能。Finger mobility is greatly reduced, affecting daily life functions.
